To uncover the secrets of wine is like to discover a new taste of life….Monk’s Cellar is another magical place simply created to celebrate the special moments spent in a good company. The cosy atmosphere of the basement and wide range of Old Continent and New World wineries make it easy to lose the track of time in our Wine Bar. This is an ideal place for intimate candlelit dinners, feasts and business meetings accompanied with great food and excellent wines. The Monk’s Cellar can accommodate in its barrels about 70 people. It also provides a refreshing coolness in summer. In our Wine Bar we serve regional cuisine. Our Chef invites you to ‘Old Polish pork chops with bone coated in breadcrumbs’ served with boiled potatoes and stewed cabbage or ‘a bowl of dumplings’ decorated with pork scratching and onion served with beetroot soup; ‘Hungarian potato pancakes’ served with goulash and decorated with cayenne pepper. Additionally, our Chef prepared a selection of snacks served with wines.  To share with you our knowledge and experience and to discover the variety of food and wines from our collection, we can prepare for You, on your special request, so called ‘commented’ dinners which ensure not only a great evening in a good company but also allow to learn a table ‘savoir vivre’ and the history and richness of wines.
